Pass the Work Keys assessment at Aiken Technical College:

The Work Keys assessment is available at Aiken Technical College during the following hours:

  • Monday-Thursday: 8 AM-5 PM
  • Friday-Saturday: 9 AM-1 PM
  • Sunday: CLOSED

The price for each assessment is as follows:

  • Applied Mathematics: $21
  • Locating Information: $21
  • Reading for Information: $21
  • Observation: $30

*Each assessment takes approximately an hour to complete Any Candidate that passes the Work Keys Assessment and is hired on by a designated employer will be refunded the testing cost! Everyone participating in the Work Keys assessment is required to have a valid photo ID and will be asked to remove any unnecessary clothing and/or accessories.

Complete a minimum of 36 hours of Adult Education, then take the Work Keys course at Aiken Technical College:

The Adult Education course is free of charge and offers extensive help and training to prepare candidates for the Work Keys assessment. The course is completed in 9 days (each day is one 4-hour class) and prepares candidates for the Work Keys assessment. It is highly recommended that candidates taking the Work Keys assessment enroll in this course. Also, ask about Career Ready 101!

Complete the Aiken Technical College A+ Computer Technician Certification program:

The ATCCNC course is a certification program for entry-level network engineers. This program does require prior knowledge of basic computer literacy, internet usage skills, and IP address/networking knowledge. Upon completion of the course candidates should be able to: Install, Configure, Operate, and Troubleshoot medium size routed and switched networks. Registration:

Complete the Aiken Technical College Manufacturing Certification (ATCMC) Course:

The ATCMC course is an entry-level Advanced Manufacturing Certification program. The program consists of training in: Safety, Quality Practices & Measurement, Manufacturing Processes and Production, and Maintenance Awareness. Upon successful completion of the ATCMC course the following certifications will be awarded: OSHA 10, Yellow Belt Lean Training, SNAP On, and Forklift. Registration:

Complete the Aiken Technical College Material Handler Course:

The Material Handler Course is an entry level material handler program designed to provide candidates with knowledge and skills associated with: Employability, Warehouse Operations, and Warehouse Equipment. Upon successful completion of the Material Handler Course the following certification will be awarded: Material Handler, Production Operator, Powered Industrial Truck, and Arial Lift. Registration:
